MEC Vass on the 18 of April engaged in a Special President’s Council Meeting via video conference call.

The video conference meeting was convened by President Cyril Ramaphosa and comprised of Ministers, Premiers and MEC’s of COGTA/COGHSTA throughout the country. The meeting was focused on new regulations and receiving an update on mass testing, contact tracing and treatment of COVID-19 cases. The virtual meeting also received an update on the Government response to COVID-19 coupled economic interventions.
