The MEC of COGHSTA Mr. Bentley Vass and the Premier of the Northern Cape, Dr. Zamani Saul as well the Mayor of Magareng Local Municipality, Councillor N. Mase, handed over newly built RDP houses to 3 beneficiaries in Warrenton on Thursday the 2nd of July 2020. There were three beneficiaries, the first one was Ms. Boitumelo Mokubung, a 73 year old pensioner who resides with her grandchild in Ikhutseng. The second one was Ms. Mandase Morwe, an 89 year old pensioner who resides with two other family members in Ikhutseng. The third beneficiary, Mr. Hendrik Blauw, a 44 year old, resides with his wife, Sandra and their two children in Warrenvale. The handover was done by MEC Vass together with Premier Saul and Mayor Mase. Construction on these houses was done by Amandla Construction and they were also present during the handover. MEC Vass also took time to listen to and note the grievances of the community regarding housing and governance issues in the Magareng Local Municipality.
