MEC Bentley Vass, together with the HOD, Mr. Bafedile Lenkoe, revisited the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality, particularly the Gasegonyana Local Municipality, to follow up on issues that were raised during previous regional engagements held with the MEC.

Forming part of the discussions was the provision of the Division of Revenue Act regarding ring-fencing Human Settlement Development Grant (HSDG) allocations to women and youth. The MEC further advised the municipality on contractual issues and their impact on the implementation of projects, and later conducted site visits to the various projects in the municipality.
